What are the issues facing today’s woodlots and watersheds?  How can we use our woodlots while also improving them for wildlife? At our seventh Winter Woodlot Tour, bring the whole family and take part in snowshoeing, sleigh rides, and many interactive interpretive events. This year’s event promises the usual attractions as well as a host of new exhibits, with staff from PEI Forests, Fish & Wildlife on hand to help answer your questions regarding forest management and winter wildlife.

This will be an opportunity to learn how to make the most of your woodlot, as well as a chance for the whole family to learn more about Island forests and watersheds and the importance of our natural environment to the Island’s economy and rural communities. There is no charge to attend this special event and free hot cider will be served.
